**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and executing various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial operations.As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial information, preparing financial reports, and assisting with various accounting tasks to support the company's growth and financial objectives.
**Duties:**
-Manage all aspects of the company's financial transactions
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts based on historical data and future trends.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees, including tax calculations and deductions.
-Prepare and file tax returns (income tax, sales tax, etc.) in compliance with local and national regulations.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks,Sage, etc.
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven work experience as an Accountant or relevant role for more than 3 years
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting
- Familiarity with corporate finance principles
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks,Sage, Xero, etc.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
-Knowledge of Canadian Taxes
-Experience in Payroll Administration
