Role Description -
This is a Part-time on-site role for an Accounting Clerk located in Mississauga, ON. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for tasks related to typically performs entry-level accounting and administrative tasks in a company's finance or accounting department.
• Collect and review employee timesheets for accuracy and completeness.
• Resolve discrepancies or missing information by coordinating with department heads or employees
• Follow up with internal teams or clients for missing timesheet data or payment issues.
• Prepare timesheet data for payroll processing
• Ensure payroll deadlines are met and provide accurate information to the payroll department or external payroll processors.
• Assist in handling payroll queries and adjustments when necessary.
• Generate invoices based on timesheets, contracts, or services provided.
• Assist in end-of-month reconciliations or reporting.
• Provide basic clerical support to the accounting team, such as filing, emailing, or report generation.
Qualifications -
• Ability to create formulas, pivot tables, and manage large datasets efficiently.
• To ensure timesheets, invoices, and payroll are error-free.
• For coordinating with teams and clients on financial matters.
• Meeting deadlines for payroll and invoicing cycles.
