Financial Analyst
- Prepares monthly ABL (Asset Based Lending) borrowing base compliance reports; monthly/annual bank reports and analyses, and covenant calculations
- Use superior Excel and Power BI skills to analyze data from multiple systems and build insightful reports and models for senior leaders to identify areas of success and opportunities for improvement
- Provide key business analysis and support ad-hoc reporting requests
- Support budget planning and financial forecasting processes
- Develop financial trends and understand how they may impact P&L KPIs.
- Demonstrates creativity with analysis suggesting possibilities for variances and looks for possible solutions creating a series of exhibits and commentary to highlight a story behind the data
- Prepares financial reports and analyses for semi-annual inventory appraisal audits, and independent third party compliance verification audits as required by Lender.
- Supports other business strategies and initiatives as required
- Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders in order to understand the business and the business needs
Qualifications:
- University graduate in finance and/or business/commerce pursuing accounting designation or equivalent 2+ years of relevant work experience.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge with Excel. Basic macro knowledge would be a desired skill.
- Understanding of financial statements principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to multi-task.
- Proven ability to be detail oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Able to work independently within an environment where own decisions will have to be developed to complete tasks.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
