Miller Bernstein LLP, is a mid-size practice in public accounting offering an interactive and friendly environment that fosters teamwork, knowledge sharing, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Receptionist & Administrative Assistant who can perform assigned tasks independently and provide support to staff & clientele as and when required.
Ideal candidate requirements and characteristics:
· Excellent verbal & written communication skills a must!
· Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in an efficient manner while working in a fast-paced environment
· Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision while still being a team player
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel & Powerpoint.
· An overall friendly, positive attitude, flexible and open to learning
Roles and responsibilities under the direct supervision of senior administrators:
· Answering and directing phone calls/faxes
· Arranging boardroom reservations & scheduling
· Preparing and cleaning meeting rooms
· Bank deposit runs
· Scanning documents and data entry
· Greeting staff and clients,
· Kitchen & general office cleanup: brewing coffee, wiping down tables, restocking refrigerator, etc.
· Mail distribution and supply inventory
· Ordering/tracking/setting up daily dinners for our professional staff
· Purchasing of non-standard kitchen supplies, party decor, etc.
· Stamping of outgoing mail for mailbox drop-off
· Courier related data entry and tracking
· Staff attendance log
· Post Office as needed (registered mail, etc)
