Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Coordinator, Accounts Payable & Treasury's role will be to implement accounts payable best practices to improve process efficiency and accuracy. You will play a leading role in supervising the accounts payable staff, oversee invoice and payment processing, vendor management, account reconciliation, expense report processing, and credit card program management. You will also assist the Accounting Manager and Corporate Controller in certain treasury tasks including cash liquidity management.

Job duties:
- Oversee all invoice processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Improve the efficiency of automated and manual processing.
- Oversee root cause analysis and resolution of processing errors.
- Develop weekly processing plans and monitor accounts payable activities.
- Optimize cash flow by respecting payment terms and taking advantage of discounts.
- Provide reports on related KPIs.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of supplier statements to accounts payable records.
- Resolve customer and stakeholder issues.
- Oversee credit card program and expense claim processing.
- Establish relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Support the Corporate Controller in monitoring daily cash positions and ensuring adequate liquidity to meet the company’s operational needs.
- Perform and assist in daily bank reconciliation processes.
- Weekly processing of bank payments.
Qualifications and experience required:
- 3 to 5 years proven experience in accounts payable and/or accounting roles.
- Experience in the hospitality field is a desirable.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work in team with a keen interest in building successful relationships with internal/external clients.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with a focus on accounts payable and treasury processes.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
- Capacity to communicate efficiently and professionally.
Language: We require all of our applicants to be able to speak and write in both French and English for this role.
