## Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance and accounting principles. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and professional development.
## Responsibilities
- Manage and analyze cost accounting data
- Prepare budget reports and financial statements
- Conduct variance analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Utilize accounting software such as PeopleSoft, Xero, and other tools for financial reporting
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other financial tasks as needed
## Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience as a Cost Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Familiarity with financial services and cost control principles
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
