At Flash Pharmacy, we are at the forefront of pharmacy technology, constantly evolving to provide the best in healthcare services. As we embark on transforming our systems to SAP, we are seeking a skilled Accountant to guide this transition and manage our daily accounting operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and projections to senior management.
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the company’s financial health.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Develop and maintain internal control systems to safeguard financial assets.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall business goals and objectives.
- Undertake other projects as needed by management to support the company’s financial goals and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in accounting.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
