TRINDENT CONSULTING INC. is looking for an Accounts Payable clerk to support our office based out of downtown Toronto. We are looking for a motivated individual with strong excel skills and a background in accounting/accounts payable to join the team.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Verify and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports in accordance with company policy.
- Process weekly ACH/wire/cheque payments, as well as rush payments as required.
- Reconcile bank, credit card and vendor statements; analyze and correct discrepancies.
- Respond to vendor inquiries as well as internal enquiries.
- Create and update A/P files and vendor/employee records.
- Perform intercompany, tax and other account reconciliations.
- Assist with payroll processing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Candidate Specification
Required qualifications are as follows:
- 1-2 years’ experience in accounts payable/accounting in a corporate environment
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Post-secondary education in accounting/finance
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
