The Retail Analyst Internship focuses on supporting our Director of Retail and Country Manager. This project-based internship offers a unique opportunity to gain insights into the impact of leveraging data to drive business strategies within a prestigious luxury brand.
Program Structure:
- First 4 Weeks: Begin your journey with 4 weeks in store at two different locations (Yorkdale Mall and Bloor St.), allowing you to discover the diversity of our retail organization. This initial phase is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of retail operations, essential for later learnings.
- Next 12 Weeks: Work closely with the Director of Retail and Country Manager on various analysis tasks and projects.
- Final 4 Days: Conclude with a department-specific assignment that highlights your analytical skills and insights.
Job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the collection and analysis of retail performance data.
- Support the preparation of financial and sales reports.
- Collaborate with the Director of Retail and Country Manager on strategic projects.
- Participate in market research and competitive analysis.
- Contribute to the development of presentations and reports for internal stakeholders.
Profile
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Interest in the luxury retail industry and a detail-oriented mindset.
