Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic Accounting Clerk who will be responsible for handling the fundamental aspects of the company financial record keeping: recording financial transactions, uploading documents into our software program, reviewing different types of documents, and perform other job related duties as requested by the management.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
- Responsible for handling the fundamental aspects of the company financial record keeping
- Recording financial transactions, reviewing documents, scanning documents
- Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
- Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
- Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
- Provide assistance and support to company personnel
- Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
- Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience in AR/AP
- Experienced with QuickBooks AP functions
- Experienced with service industry
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- An ability to work quickly and accurately.
- Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of discretion and tack
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer knowledge- working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
