We are currently recruiting for a Tax Accountant for our Norwich, ON office with service to Delhi and Tillsonburg offices as well.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities of this position will include:
- Effectively plan, supervise, and execute tax engagements (reorganizations and tax planning) and accounting projects in accordance with all relevant professional standards and firm’s policies
- Maintain high-quality control by researching tax issues and reviewing tax returns, and other work to ensure accuracy and completeness and that the engagement/project is in compliance with the relevant professional standards and the firm’s policies
- Effectively manage and focus firm’s resources
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients and colleagues while upholding the firm’s vision of offering high professional standards, competence and integrity
- Foster an efficient, innovative, and team-focused environment
- Proficient in CaseWare and Taxprep
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to deliver in a fast paced, deadline and customer focused environment
Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge:
The successful candidate will have public accounting experience. Interest in or prior completion of the CPA In-Depth Tax Course is a plus.
