On behalf of our client, a boutique investment firm, we have been retained on a Senior Accountant job search. This is an opportunity to join an industry leader in their space, to be part of a strong and growing team, a role that has an extremely strong work/life balance and is hybrid, in the office 2 days a week (next to Union Station) and 3 days a week from home.
Total compensation - $100,000 - $110,000 depending on experience, excellent benefits, vacation package.
The ideal candidate for this role would have all of the following:
- Canadian CPA
- 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, we need someone who is strong with the preparation of trial balances, journal entries, adjusting entries and financial statements
- Strong Excel / Sage experience
- Comfortable working with multiple different accounting entries, investment entities, partnerships, etc.
- Working with external auditors
- Experience working in a multi-currency environment would be helpful
