Reporting to the Director of Finance, key responsibilities include:
· In collaboration with the Finance & HR Team, areas of responsibility include order entry, data analytics including product profitability and supporting Accounting Manager as required over the accounts receivable, payables and payroll processes
· Weekly preparation of key operational reports to the CEO and CFO
· Administration of key inventory and sales controls
· Assistance with procurement and cost controls
· Data management of new technologies including to help support CAPEX decision making and related financial reporting requirements on grants and other programs
· Preparation of monthly actual to budget comparisons and other ad hoc requests
· Remain updated on current software and accounting best practices
· Help with the annual audit and ensure compliance with financial regulations, including those related to securities law and regulations.
· Management of the Company’s social media platform
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Math, Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
· Accounting Designation not required but a plus
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Ability to analyze complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
· Experience with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.
· Spanish speaking not required but a plus
· Experience with Health, Food and Safety and Ministry of Environment Reporting not required but a plus
Working Conditions:
· 9-5, five days a week, primarily out of our offices in Kingsville location
· Reporting to the Director of Finance
· Vehicle required as some travel between greenhouse locations will be required
