Responsibilities
As a staff accountant, you will be responsible for the management of various client engagements, working alongside a team of tax and accounting professionals. You will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring junior staff on projects and with the development of their careers.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business discipline or diploma equivalent
- CPA, CA, CGA, or CMA designation
- A minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience in tax or assurance
Accounting & Professional Skills
- Financial Statement Compilations – preparation, review, and management;
- Financial Statement Reviews – ASPE reporting engagements, preparation, review, and management;
- Corporate, Personal, Trust and other tax reporting – Preparation, review, and consulting;
- Client management and relationship building;
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral);
- Proficiency with MS Office, Profile, CaseWare, QuickBooks and Simply Accounting;
- Commitment to learning and education;
- Strong problem-solving skills;
- Organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks;
- Leadership and supervisory skills;
- Knowledge of agricultural industry a benefit
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
