We are in search of a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team based in Toronto, Ontario. As a Desktop Support Analyst, your primary role will be to provide on-site support, maintaining and updating devices, as well as troubleshooting using the provided checklist. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity in the IT industry.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site support for five days per week, ensuring smooth operations
- Manage, update and maintain around 200 devices, ensuring they are functioning correctly
- Utilize Apple Business Manager for Mac support, effectively handling any issues that arise
- Follow the troubleshooting checklist provided by the IT Manager for previously set up devices
- Ensure proper set up of devices, according to the guidelines
- Resolve any technical issues, using skills in Android Development, Cisco Technologies, and Citrix Technologies
- Handle computer hardware issues and manage Dell Technologies
- Use Active Directory for managing identities and resources
- Support Apple Devices and handle any issues related to them
- Utilize Backup Technologies for data protection and recovery
- Carry out Configuration Management to ensure system security, reliability and performance.
- Proficiency in Android Development, capable of troubleshooting and resolving any Android software issues.
- Expertise in Cisco Technologies, with the ability to manage, maintain, and optimize Cisco networks and systems.
- Familiarity with Citrix Technologies, including the ability to troubleshoot and maintain Citrix virtualization software.
- Strong knowledge of Computer Hardware, with the ability to diagnose and repair hardware issues on a variety of devices.
- Experience with Dell Technologies, including the use of Dell's enterprise solutions and products.
- Proficiency in using Active Directory, including user and group management, security, and network services.
- Experience with Apple Devices, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of Apple hardware and software.
- Knowledge of Backup Technologies, with the ability to implement and maintain data backup solutions.
- Experience in Configuration Management, including the ability to manage, maintain, and optimize system and network configurations.
