This Bilingual Payroll Compliance Advisor Position Features:
FRENCH IS A MUST!!!
Salary $72,000- $85,000 Salary
100% REMOTE for candidates outside the GTA otherwise it is a hybrid model 3 days a week in office downtown Toronto
Candidates can be from Quebec!
9-5 Monday to Friday with flexibility
If candidates are outside the GTA (ie Ottawa, Quebec, New Brunswick They are 100% fully remote. They will be flown in for their in-person interview and any special meetings or team events with all expenses paid!

The Role:
- Analyzing new and existing government legislation, provincial and or federal budgets, and identifying any gaps in members and making recommendations for change.
- Must develop relationships with members and stake holders and board members and maintain contracts with respective jurisdiction
-Answering inquiries and questions regarding rules and regulations. It can be quite busy towards the end of the year 600 phone calls in 1 month. (more of a call center environment/Info Line -12 others on the team)
- May conduct seminars and training sessions if they choose
Must Haves:
- English and French skills
- PCP certification or PLP certification or in the processes of getting it
- Post secondary education in a related field
-2- 3 years’ experience with full cycle payroll
- Bilingual English and French with excellent communication skills written and verbal
-Multi- in-depth knowledge jurisdictional employment standards knowledge for each province
- Must be able to quickly analyze legislation and communication to members and managers
- Excellent research skills
- Ability to interpret & explain legislature, income tax act, employment insurance act, and pension plan act
- Experience in training and delivering adult education using PowerPoint (asset)
- Must have knowledge of Quebec’s payroll standards
