Our client, a reputable real estate firm is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Administrator to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in property management and a strong understanding of accounting principles.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update tenant accounts.
- Process rent payments and security deposits.
- Prepare and post adjusting entries.
- Invoice tenants for additional charges.
- Handle non-sufficient funds (NSF) checks.
- Calculate interest on security deposits.
- Prepare monthly rent rolls and reports.
- Ensure compliance with tenant notice requirements.
- Coordinate tenant lease renewals.
- Handle tenant account collections.
- Prepare monthly reports and reconcile bank accounts.
- Prepare annual tax statements for tenants.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in real estate, preferably property management
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in accounting software (Yardi experience preferred) and Microsoft Office
