About the Opportunity

Oversee the billing team and its daily responsibilities
Work with other functional heads to continually improve internal processes and improve customer experience
Work closely with the IT Application Support team to improve the NetSuite billing function
Manage the monthly invoicing process to ensure timely and accurate invoicing. Respond to external (customer) and internal (other departments) inquiries (cases)
Gather, analyse, and correctly interpret information from multiple sources to support credit note approval and generation.
Manage the process of uploading invoices to 3rd party portals using a billing team member
Advise, update and monitor annual price increases
Work in collaboration with accounts receivable, customer success, and sales teams to ensure the timely resolution of customer inquiries.
Achieve agreed KPIs to ensure customers receive a quick resolution to all invoicing queries
Complete periodic reports on invoice and credit note generation

About You

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in billings, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
Strong understanding of billing processes and system
Confident mathematical skills
Excellent leadership and team management skills. Desirable
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP.
Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce
Demonstrated ability to build solid working relationships across the organization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
