Position: Accounts Payable Coordinator
Location: Downtown Toronto
Salary: $60K to $70K dependent on experience
Hybrid: 3 days onsite
Quantum is excited to be partnering with a professional services firm in downtown to recruit an Accounts Payable/Payment Coordinator on a permanent position. We are seeking candidates with solid experience in accounts payable who can thrive both independently and within a team in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of accounts payable, including tracking invoices, coding, obtaining approvals, vendor communications, and processing payments/expense reports.
- Assist with accounts receivable tasks, such as invoicing, collections, and deposits.
- Oversee cash management activities, including preparing weekly treasury reports and summarizing payments.
- Execute payments (wire transfers, ACH, cheques) and coordinate with banks on cash management needs.
- Prepare and file tax compliance documents (HST, payroll, corporate tax).
- Maintain professional communication with vendors, clients, and employees regarding payments.
- Contribute to process improvements and system upgrades.
- Provide support on various special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- A university degree or college diploma, with 2-3 years of accounts payable experience.
- Previous experience in a professional services environment is a strong asset.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office; experience with Sage and Concur is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- General business knowledge, with experience in real estate or private equity considered an asset.
