Bookkeeping company looking for a couple of self-starters who are experienced in bookkeeping and capable of adapting and learning at an advanced pace. These positions would be full-time, all around Metro Vancouver.
You will need to know how to use Quickbooks and be expected to maintain responsibilities such as:
- Accounts payable (Processing bills and issuing payments)
- Accounts receivable (Invoicing and bank deposits)
- Account reconciliations (Via bank and credit card statements)
- Preparing monthly financial reports (P&L statements)
- Payroll services (Paycheques, T4s) and its associated returns (GST, WCB)
An ideal candidate would have basic experience in the following:
- College-level arithmetic capabilities
- Fluency in written and verbal English
- Knowledge in Microsoft Excel and common IT usage
- Dependable problem solving and decision making skills
- The willingness to learn independently as well as with team members through mutual support
- The capacity to work under pressure and have effective time management skills
- A strong sense of accountability and attention to detail
- Their own mode of transportation
