About the Role
As a Senior Analyst on our Corporate Finance team, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy of our company. You will be responsible for the compilation and analysis of business plans, forecasts and reports that are essential for decision making within the business. This will include the preparation of presentations for senior management and the board. You will also be an integral part of the treasury function including cash management, debt management and compliance and assisting the team with financing activities. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about decarbonization and has a desire to contribute to the transition to clean energy.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Forecast cash flow positions, determine related borrowing needs, and identify funds available for investment. Ensure that sufficient funds are available to support both ongoing operational and strategic capital investment requirements.
- Enhance planning and forecasting functions of Enwave including annual financing plans and preparing dynamic monthly re-forecasts.
- Contribute to the annual valuation process, providing crucial insights and analysis to assess our business’s worth.
- Assist the annual credit rating review by preparing financial models and presentations for the credit rating agency.
- Optimize cash management and liquidity forecasting to ensure Enwave’s financial health and operational efficiency.
- Oversee debt compliance reporting, ensuring adherence to all related obligations and requirements.
- Assist in administration of financing and hedge programs to maximize financial stability and performance.
- Provide Treasury related accounting support for month-end closings and annual audits
- Provide financial analysis support to the development of business cases and capital expenditure plans.
- Generate ad-hoc reports, presentations, and analyses as needed to support various financial and strategic initiatives.
Relationships (Internal/External Stakeholders)
Internal: FP&A and Controllership, Corporate Development, Legal and Project team
External: Credit Rating Agency, Construction Managers, Banks and auditors
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Experience
The successful candidate has 3 to 5 years’ accounting/finance experience, and is expected to bring a structured, collaborative, detail-oriented and proactive approach. The ideal candidate mindset has a willingness to learn, drive to continuously improve, and is team-centric with strong integrity. The candidate should have a proven track record of exceptional performance with a strong ability to explain the story behind the numbers. Additional desired knowledge, skills & experience include:
- Intermediate to advanced level financial modelling skills with solid understanding of DCF as this role requires to work on large financial models for valuation and financing purposes. The candidate must be able to build some financial models from scratch as he/she progresses in this role
- Professional finance designation (CPA, CFA, CBV or equivalent) required
- Some knowledge of corporate finance, treasury and valuations
- Experience managing projects across multiple teams
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Highly analytical with great attention to detail
- A process-focused individual with a passion to drive and deliver effective change
- Experience in capital intensive businesses is an asset
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment which requires a high level of flexibility and adaptability
