A well-established Downtown Montreal retail business is currently seeking a full time bilingual Accounting Assistant to join its team.
The candidate should have knowledge in the following:
· Accounts payable (verifying vendors invoices, contacting vendors, preparing recaps and issuing payments).
· General bookkeeping and recording transactions into the accounting records.
· Petty cash, expense reports and credit card reconciliations.
· Daily deposits at the bank.
· Filing.
· Coordinating and following-up on various files related to operations.
· Other related and miscellaneous administrative tasks.
Candidates must have the following prerequisites:
- A minimum of 1 year of general accounting/administrative work experience.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, Word & Outlook)
- Knowledge of Acomba would be an asset
- Bilingual (French / English, spoken and written) a must.
The Accounting Assistant must be responsible, autonomous, and versatile. This individual should be recognized for his/her reliability, judgment, discretion, and accuracy. He or she must have a positive attitude, be very organized, have a lot of initiative and a strong communicator.
Work Remotely
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Pay: $45,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
