Bookkeeping at Notanobo doesn't look like bookkeeping anywhere else. We're working on a suite of internal tools that help speed up the bookkeeping process and reduce the amount of manual work that has to be done on a file.

Our contractor positions are completely flexible. Some contractors work a compressed schedule while others work throughout the week. This role is fully remote.
The Position
This is a contractor role which will start at approximately 15 to 25 hours a week. Hours will be flexible but will be between the working hours of 8am to 5pm.There is the possibility for this role to grow as the company grows if desired.
What You Will Be Doing
The largest chunk of the role will be spent bookkeeping for a variety of companies ranging from turbocharged startups to small brick and mortars. You will spend the largest amount of your time bookkeeping and communicating with clients through email/zoom/telephone. The remainder of your time will be spent learning, engaging with the team and pitching in where help is needed.
As an ideal candidate, you have the following skills/experience:
- You have a minimum of three years experience at a public practice accounting firm in a bookkeeping or accounting role and/or have a CPA Designation.
- You’ve completed a BCom, BBA or Diploma with a focus on accounting.
- You are an articulate communicator, proficient in both verbal and written English.
- You have the ability to juggle multiple projects without losing focus of timelines, progress, and communication.
- You are resourceful, flexible and a quicker learner.
