We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Bookkeeoer/Tax Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with their monthly bookkeeping and or tax preparation and compliance needs. This position requires strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles to ensure accurate reporting and adherence to tax regulations.
Duties
- Prepare and file tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Conduct thorough account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial statements.
- Assist clients with payroll processing and related tax obligations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to maintain financial health.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage for efficient record-keeping.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly.
Skills
- Proficiency in account reconciliation processes.
- Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
- Familiarity with various accounting software, including QuickBooks and Sage.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
