FP&A Manager
The FP&A Manager will be responsible for supporting with a focus on pricing and margins to provide value add insights to business partners. This role requires strong systems, collaborative & leadership skills, with a strategic and hands-on mindset. This role is key to the company’s goal of driving process improvements, providing meaningful reporting and insightful financial analytics.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Customer & Product Contribution Analytics – Prepare Customer & Product P&Ls and share summary results and analytics with Sales and Financial leadership. Pro-actively identify and investigate issues and design optimal ways to share insights. Provide appropriate level of customer and product information to assist business partners in pricing and contract renewal decisions.
· Volume Reporting – Prepare monthly Customer/Product Volume Reports and support monthly Sales meetings (Retail, Food Service & Industrial). Complete specific product Demand/Supply Volume Reports to support production planning decisions.
· Trade Spend - Work with Sales and Financial Trade Team to review, track and forecast customer trade spend. Complete “Trade Spend Evaluators” for selected customer promotional deals.
· SAP Standard Costing – Work with Plant Costing to review standards to be used in pricing decisions and profit margin analyses.
· Annual Plan - Work with business partners to coordinate the building, analysis and communication of the annual Customer Plans, including volume, trade spend, SAP standard costs and resulting margins.
· New Product Analysis – Work with marketing and product development to provide financials and pricing strategies to enable sound investment decisions.
· Customer Contract Support – Work with Sales to analyze current and proposed contracts and resulting P&L’s, providing guidance and support to optimize returns.
· System & Process Development – Support systems/process/tools development to drive deeper level analyses to achieve financial targets. Actively identify and implement process improvements to bring value to the business.
- Leading projects from conception to completion.
- Other special projects and ad hoc reporting as required.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
· University Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
· Minimum 5 years of financial analysis experience with Food, Retail or CPG industry.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Excellent MS Office computer skills (advanced excel).
- Experience with SAP/BI/BPC is desired.
- Proven ability to effectively compile, analyze and interpret data.
- Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills.
- Strong analytical/technical, logic and mathematic skills with attention to detail.
- Must be able to work as a part of a collaborative team with all levels and departments.
