As the Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for cash and bank reconciliations, participating in preparing month end, while working on special projects for the department.
Some of What You’ll Do:
Bank Reconciliations:
- Prepare bank reconciliations for all local and foreign bank accounts.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Month-End:
- Prepare month-end schedules for various General Ledger (GL) accounts.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all schedules.
- Complete other month-end tasks by their stated deadline.
- Assist in monthly P&L variance analytics.
- Run system reports such as fixed asset continuity schedules and inventory schedules.
Special Projects:
- Participate in special projects throughout the year, such as audits and other requests.
- Provide support for ad-hoc financial analyses and projects as needed.
Some of What You’ll Need:
- Accounting certificate/diploma or equivalent
- 1 – 2 years of relevant industry experience
