Job Duties
- Manage and execute the entire recruitment cycle/process
- Manage existing employee files and contracts
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations
- Ensure implementation of Dana/Facility policies and standardized processes.
- Ensure implementation of facility Health & Safety program
- Ensure orientation and induction for newly hired employees are completed
- Develop a resource pool of potential candidates for the various job types and develop a strategy and process for recruitment
- Develop programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Administer payroll and time and attendance functions, including inputting new hires, updating employee status, managing wage adjustments, handling terminations, and submitting Records of Employment (ROE)
- Maintain accurate and current employee data in the ADP system
- Assist in the maintenance of company benefit plan
- Analyze HR metrics and create and implement action plans based on those metrics in line with Center of Excellence and/or business objectives
- Oversee time and attendance activities at the facility level
- Facilitate issue resolution between employees and managers, as required
- Perform employee and labor relations duties, including grievance procedures and contract implementation
- Deploy strategies and programs designed by the Dana Centers of Excellence
- Perform internal investigations, prepare necessary documentation, and testify at hearings, as required
- Implement diversity strategy with the facility
- Coordinate with other departments, as necessary
- Plan, budget, organize and oversee all employee engagement, staff events, including staff training days, team building events to ensure positive employee morale
Requirements:
Post-Secondary Education in a related field
3 - 5 years experience in Human Resource
Manufacturing experience preferred
Must be computer literate and would like experience with SAP and ADP
Prior’ Labor experience a plus
