Valitas is seeking motivated, entrepreneurial, and well-rounded students to join our Analyst Development Program starting September 3, 2024, for a four-month term. The Analyst Development Program ("ADP") was developed to attract the highest caliber of talent across North America and mentor each student in Valitas' culture. The program's purpose is to provide students with an opportunity to learn Investment Banking at an early age while creating a pipeline of polished professionals to recruit for full-time roles once available.
Junior Analysts receive weekly group feedback and detailed individual feedback throughout the program. Junior Analysts have the opportunity to receive direct mentorship from senior team members, including the Partners, and expand their responsibilities by taking on individual and team projects.
In this role, you will:
- Build lists of acquisition targets, potential buyers, and prospective clients
- Research, build and maintain internal databases
- Perform financial and strategic fit analysis for potential targets/bidders
- Assist in preparing client-facing and published materials (pitch books, confidential information memoranda, newsletters, etc.)
- Progress quickly to greater responsibility
- Get challenged with more involvement in the deal process
- Support the firm's quarterly strategic projects and firm-building activities
- Receive direct mentorship from members of the team

- Completed at least 2 years of undergraduate studies
