Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Accountant at OTI Food Products located in Calgary, AB. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, analyzing budgets, and providing financial advice to the management team. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial compliance and contribute to the overall financial strategy of the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus
