Responsibilities
- Develop and execute financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives.
- Lead fundraising efforts, including securing debt and equity financing for project development.
- Oversee project finance activities, including financial modeling, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Manage and optimize capital structure to maximize returns and minimize risks.
- Supervise accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the CEO, board of directors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide strategic financial guidance and analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and efficiency.
Requirements
- Significant experience in fundraising and project financing including deal negotiation and closing.
- CPA, MBA, or CFA designation preferred but other educational backgrounds considered.
- Proven track record of successfully leading financial operations in a similar capacity.
- Strong understanding of project finance principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on technical competency in Microsoft suite of products.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Previous experience in renewable energy project development is preferred.
