We are looking for an experienced candidate to join us as an Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper
You will be responsible for the following:
- Process accounts payable, receivable and payroll
- Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Monitor and maintain purchase orders and compare against expenditures
- Communicate with other team members to obtain required documentation and financial information
- Manage rent roll, leases, and vendor contracts.
- Monitor and control expenses
- Generate financial reports
- Complete bank and other account reconciliations
- Complete other accounting and administrative related duties, as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bookkeeper/accounting and administrative assistant
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and strong knowledge of QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of reconciliations and payroll
Candidate must have at least 5 years of Bookkeeping/Accounting and Administrative experience.
