The “Make It Happen” team at Homestar is growing and hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk.
Responsibilities:
· Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
· Update daily financial records.
· Monitor accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue accounts.
· Daily collections via phone or email, to follow up on outstanding invoices and facilitate timely payment.
· Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes in a timely manner.
· Reconcile accounting or documentation discrepancies.
· Compile summaries and reports for management.
Requirements:
· Experience in collections is a necessity.
· Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
· Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software.
· Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
· Accuracy and attention to detail.
· Data entry and word processing skills.
· Reliable and punctual.
