Responsibilities:
- Daily customer transactional reconciliations: Perform daily reconciliations requiring detailed investigations of reconciling items, appropriate funding of customer accounts and timely escalation of issues.
- Invoicing customers: Prepare and issue invoices, ensuring accurate pricing, terms, and customer information. Assist with revenue recognition processes in accordance with accounting standards.
- Accounts Payable: Code accounts payable invoices and credit card transactions appropriately and enter them into the accounting system, ensuring proper allocation of expenses in adherence to company policies.
- Perform account reconciliations and update periodic schedule for various general ledger accounts, banks, prepaids, accruals, deferred revenue, debt, and intercompany transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies or issues related to reconciliations, payments, or vendor accounts.
- Preparation and filing of monthly tax returns.
- Act as a back up to post Cash receipts in NetSuite.
- Participation in special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements and Skills:
- College diploma in accounting, finance or a related field.
- Required to work in the office three times a week.
- Proven experience in accounting roles in a SaaS or Fintech company.
- Proficiency with NetSuite is required.
- Attentive to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
