Your New Company:
Hays Specialist Recruitment has partnered with a large gaming company located in North York, ON. We are looking to hire a Accounts Payable to join their team on a contract basis of 3 months, which has the possibility of extension. This candidate will be working from their North York Office on a hybrid basis.
Responsibilities
- Email Management: Receive emails from vendors, save and send for approval.
- Payment Coordination: Work closely with team members who handle payments via EFT or wires, though you will not be authorized to make payments.
- Invoice Management: Rotate through the email box with the team, color coordinating invoices for different sites.
- Month-End Accruals: Send accruals for approval, review, and post them. Collaborate with the finance team post-month-end to explain accruals, coding, etc.
- Expense Processing: Process employee expenses efficiently.
- Documentation: Convert Excel documents to PDF as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excel Skills: Intermediate level proficiency in Excel, including adding lines and coding within a pre-made workbook (no pivot tables or Vlookups required).
- MS Office Suite: Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Outlook, for managing a high volume of emails, organizing folders, and coding.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is essential.
- Experience with Accruals: Prior experience with month-end accruals is required.
