Accounts Payable Clerk
$55,000- $60,000 base with strong benefits

My client, a leading developer specializing in residential properties in Ontario. They are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a company dedicated to quality, innovation, and building thriving communities.
Requirements:
- Review invoices against supporting documents such as pay orders, quotes, and receipts.
- Communicate professionally with vendors and trades.
- Address and resolve invoice discrepancies with trades, vendors, or project managers.
- Confirm that all necessary documentation is received before releasing holdbacks.
- Reconcile vendor statements and ledgers, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
- Accurately organize and maintain files and documentation.
- Respond to inquiries by providing copies of invoices when requested.
- Assist the Senior Project Accountant with the monthly Construction Draw Report by retrieving and copying invoices.
- Support the year-end audit process.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Ideally the candidates will be:
- Capable of meeting tight deadlines and performing well under pressure.
- Skilled at prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable handling a high volume of data entry tasks.
- Highly detail-oriented and precise.
- Effective in collaborating within a team-oriented environment.
