Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join our team in Aurora, Ontario. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing support in administering employee benefits programs and handling confidential employee information with discretion and integrity. The role also involves developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for internal training purposes and working as part of the HR team.
Responsibilities
- Administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance, STD/LTD, and pension plans.
- Collaborating with Benefits Claims adjudicator on updates related to STD/LTD & Leave claims.
- Assisting employees with benefits-related inquiries and enrollment processes.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of benefits offerings and providing guidance to employees on benefits options, enrollment processes, and eligibility requirements.
- Generating and analyzing payroll and benefits reports for management.
- Serving as a point of contact for employee questions related to payroll and benefits.
- Handling confidential employee information with discretion and integrity.
- Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guides for internal training purposes.
- Working as part of the HR team and adhering to the company's code of ethics.
- Undertaking additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential.
- Experience in using ADP - Financial Services is required.
- Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of Ceridian software will be a plus.
- Ability to work with Crystal Reports is necessary.
- Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration is required.
- Familiarity with About Time software will be beneficial.
- Proficiency in Accounting Functions is vital.
- Previous experience in Auditing is desirable.
- Knowledge of Benefit Functions is required.
