Job Title: Collection Analyst
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

About the Role
Our client's are seeking a Collection Analyst to join their team in a hybrid capacity in Toronto. This role is critical in driving cash flow performance by managing an assigned Accounts Receivable (AR) portfolio of $60–$80 million. By ensuring timely payments and resolving account issues, the Collection Analyst contributes to our company’s financial health and ability to invest in growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned AR portfolio, initiating collection calls in line with company guidelines.
- Facilitate customer payments by providing necessary documentation and resolving billing disputes.
- Escalate problem accounts to Credit and Sales Management, recommending actions where necessary.
- Collaborate with credit analysts on financial distress accounts and negotiate payment plans.
- Provide regular portfolio performance reports to credit management.
- Participate in process improvement projects and provide training as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of B2B collections experience, ideally in a high-growth environment.
Skills:
- Strong customer relationship management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrated initiative, independent work capabilities, and a collaborative team spirit.
