Consolidated Industrial Products, a company of Mansour Chemicals and Commodities, is currently seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Junior Accountant. The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent attention to detail, and is willing to take on a wide variety of tasks.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Assisting with accounts receivable process, including preparing and processing sales invoices in a timely manner
- Assisting with accounts payable process, including issuing purchase orders and processing vendor invoices in a timely manner
- Reconciling monthly bank statements
- Preparing, entering, posting, and recording journal entries including various month-end and year-end accruals
- Reconciling account balances and preparing various working papers to support the preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Prepare and analyze reports, including budget preparation, for the CFO and Divisional Managers
- Preparing monthly HST remittances.
- Various administrative tasks such as invoicing, entering and coding payables, filing, billing, and doing payroll (oversee role)
- Documenting and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Assisting staff with system and accounting related questions
- Perform other related duties as required

- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum of a two-year Diploma or a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from an accredited post-secondary institution
- Great Plains (Microsoft GP) experience is an asset
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
- Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning software is considered an asset
- Knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
