We are a fast growing boutique (ranked #302 fastest growing business in Canada by the Globe and Mail in 2024), downtown Toronto based accounting practice looking for an enthusiastic and experienced manager or senior staff accountant to join our ranks. Our firms focuses on tax advisory, compliance and accounting work - we do not do any audits or review engagements!
We are looking for someone who can step in immediately as such the following are a must:
- At least 5 tax seasons (recent tax seasons) in a small - midsize Canadian CPA firm with a focus on corporate and personal tax (as we don't do audits or reviews) - the successful candidate should have at least 5 years experience for this role;
- Preference will be given to candidates with managerial experience;
- Experience in using Caseware, Caseview and Taxprep (or Profile);
- Strong tax knowledge and experience in working with owner managed business;
- Designated CPA will be looked up on favourably;
- Experience in working with professionals (healthcare and other) is preferred.
Great communication skills will help the successful candidate succeed in this role.
