Due to a well deserved retirement, we are seeking a dynamic Director of Finance and Purchasing to lead the financial and purchasing operations for this growing and stable company. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional who wants to make a meaningful impact while playing a critical role in shaping the company’s financial future.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the Finance and Purchasing teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and operational compliance
- Manage accounting operations, including A/R, A/P, Payroll, and Inventory
- Drive cost efficiencies through vendor management and purchasing oversight
- Provide actionable financial insights for senior management to influence strategic decisions
- Manage hedging activities, tax returns, and audits
- Lead continuous process improvements, including automation of financial functions
What You Bring:
- CPA designation and 10-15 years of progressive finance experience
- Minimum of 5* years in a leadership role* with demonstrated success in managing teams and influencing outcomes
- Expertise in financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
- Experience/knowlwedge in purchasing, inventory, procurement, and vendor management (manufacturing background is a plus)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with MRP systems
- Ability to foster collaboration and drive change
