Job Summary
The Accounting Technician role provides support to our Property Managers and their properties. The role requires organization, analytical thinking, and the ability to meet short and long-term deadlines.
Primary Responsibilities
Analyze, record and report financial data
Financial statement preparation and review
Bank reconciliations
Reconciliations, accruals, and transaction report preparation
Full cycle accounting operations
GST Reporting & Filing
Other duties as assigned
Work Experience
Minimum 3+ years of recent full cycle accounting experience
Knowledge and Skills
Working knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to apply them in a practical way
Experience with MS Office suite as well as intermediate MS Excel skills
Payroll experience an asset
Time management and prioritization skills
Problem solving skills

Written and verbal communications skills
Able to represent comprehensive information in a clear, concise manner
Build and maintain strong customer relations
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Work Environment
Office location – Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada (Monday to Friday 8:30 – 4:30)
