Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the accuracy of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and account reconciliation. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of our organization and requires a proactive approach to managing financial processes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Manage the workflow of accounting staff to ensure accuracy and timely reporting
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage the budgeting process and provide regular budget analysis.
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Supervise payroll processing and ensure timely payment to employees.
- Perform account analysis to identify trends and variances in financial data.
- Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives through sound financial practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Proven experience with a minimum of 2 years as a Controller or similar role in accounting/finance management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to team dynamics.
- Leadership abilities with strong interpersonal and communication skills
