Summary/Objective
The Payroll Administrator assists the Senior Manager, Payroll with end to end multistate payroll processing. They are responsible for a wide range of administrative services including but not limited to payroll admin, payroll disbursements, report writing and continuous process improvements.
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities
Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating & entering data across many states.
Meet semi-monthly deadlines for processing payroll transactions using UKG ( formerly Ultimate Software)
Assisting Payroll Manager with weekly audits of Payroll and year end processes
Responds to inquiries from Employees regarding deductions, calculations, and changes on compensation
Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure seamless payroll processing
Perform a variety of statistical tasks and clerical duties required to prepare payroll data for computer input.
Review timekeeping records for accuracy
Prepare, compile and maintain accurate various statistical & payroll records
Monitor and review all payroll disbursements for accuracy
Maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records to ensure documents are collected and filed appropriately
Supervisory Responsibility
This position reports to the Senior Manager, Payroll.
Education and Experience
2+ years’ multistate payroll processing experience
High school diploma required, A bachelor's degree an asset
CPP certification, or working towards, an asset
Proficient in Microsoft excel, UKG ( Ultimate software and Kronos) assets
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Very minimal travel, may visit other offices
