Are you an experienced Billing Specialist looking for a dynamic and fully remote opportunity? We are a leading temporary agency hiring on behalf of one of our valued clients for a 2.5-month assignment with strong potential for extension. This is a 100% remote position, offering a competitive hourly pay rate of $30/hour.
Position Overview:
As a Billing Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the billing team by handling a full spectrum of responsibilities including invoicing, cash receipts posting, collections, and bank deposits. This role is ideal for a self-starter with strong communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the accounting system.
- Review past-due accounts and engage with customers to secure payments.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries about invoices, resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Generate accurate invoices based on contract terms, ensuring precision in collaboration with team members.
- Prepare internal reports on billing status and other financial metrics as requested.
- Assist in month-end close procedures and ensure timely reporting.
- Post, verify, and record customer payments, keeping accounts receivable processes streamlined.
- Support additional tasks and projects to enhance team performance as required.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (or equivalent experience).
- 2-4 years of proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, and collections; SaaS experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Sage Intacct and Salesforce is an asset.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including expertise with formulas and pivot tables.
