Job Description:
As the Collections Manager at ProVent HCE, a leading manufacturer of commercial kitchen range hoods, you will oversee the management of all accounts receivable and collections activities. You will be responsible for leading a team, optimizing cash flow, and implementing strategies to reduce overdue accounts and minimize financial risks. Your role will be integral to ensuring the efficient management of customer payments, improving collection processes, and working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain strong customer relationships and ensure timely payment.
Responsibilities:
- Collections Strategy: Develop and implement effective strategies to manage outstanding accounts and reduce the aging of receivables.
- Customer Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers to address payment issues, negotiate payment terms, and resolve disputes effectively.
- Monitor Accounts Receivable: Oversee the daily management of customer accounts, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, payment processing, and resolution of overdue accounts.
- Debt Recovery: Take proactive measures to recover overdue payments, including sending reminders, negotiating payment plans, and initiating collections when necessary.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics teams to identify and resolve issues affecting payment schedules and improve overall customer satisfaction.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve collection processes, systems, and strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce outstanding balances.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven track record in successfully managing collections, reducing outstanding balances, and improving cash flow.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and collections best practices.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Bilingual; French and English.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and organizational skills.

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
