Job Description:
As an Accounts Receivable Clerk at our company, which specializes in the manufacturing of commercial kitchen exhaust hoods, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions and tracking payments. You will be responsible for generating and managing invoices, processing payments, and collaborating with various internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient management of customer accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Issuing Invoices: Generate and send customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and consistency of information for each transaction.
- Payment Processing: Receive, record, and process payments made by customers (via check, wire transfer, credit card, etc.).
- Payment Entry: Accurately record all payments received, discounts, and adjustments into our accounting system.
- Customer Account Management: Regularly monitor customer account balances and collaborate with sales and logistics teams to resolve discrepancies or billing issues.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with sales and logistics teams to clarify transactions, resolve payment issues, and ensure error-free invoicing.
- Report Preparation: Assist in preparing monthly accounts receivable reports and ensure timely payment collections.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience in accounting or accounts receivable management (an asset).
- Familiarity with accounting software and office tools (Excel, etc.).
- Excellent communication in both French and English and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
