Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to manage a team effectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations including accounts receivable, payroll, and account reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct account analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting software such as Sage or QuickBooks.
- Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end close processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support budgeting efforts.
- Supervise and mentor support staff to enhance their professional growth and efficiency.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; CPA / CGA designation.
- Proven experience as a Controller or similar role with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage and QuickBooks is essential.
- Strong skills in account analysis, budgeting, payroll management, capital lease management, amortization schedules, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
