Job Overview
The ideal Office Assistant will play a vital role in the smooth operation of our office by being able to prioritize your workload. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively. Be flexible and resourceful in problem solving.
Responsibilities
- Handle daily incoming phone calls / messages & e-mails with professionalism.
- Complete with accuracy daily - sales sheets / cash balancing to staff ring outs / balancing tills / preparing cash floats / cross check & confirm payroll hours.
- Maintain a document filing system - digitally and paper.
- Support vendor / customer inquiries by providing information or resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and order as needed.
- Maintain an organized workspace and assist in keeping the office environment tidy.
Skills
- Strong administrative skills with a focus on organization and efficiency.
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office and efficient typing skills.
- Ability to proofread documents for grammatical accuracy and clarity.
- Basic bookkeeping knowledge.
- Strong support skills to address customer/ vendor / staff needs effectively.
- Familiarity with clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, and document management.
