Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will be part of the Finance Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Auditing, entering and reviewing all invoices to purchase orders;
- Preparing invoices for payment;
- Researching problem invoicing;
- Accurately posting all costs to the general ledger accounts;
- Matching freight bills against freight manifests;
- Providing accounts payable transactional assistance to site employees;
- Performing account reconciliations as required;
- Other duties may be assigned as required.
What You Need To Succeed
- Post-Secondary Diploma in a Business related program or equivalent experience in an Accounts Payable environment;
- Minimum three years’ experience working as an Accounts Payable capacity;
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices;
- Experience with SAP is considered a strong asset;
- Ability to adapt to change in a dynamic and growing company;
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize assignments;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Your Work Schedule
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday at our Timmins Regional Office. Occasional visits to site may also be required.
