AMC Chartered Professional Accountants Inc., a growing CPA firm Lower Sackville (HRM), is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper/Technician to join our team. This is a permanent opportunity where you will be working on various engagements relating to our small to mid-sized owner managed clients. Our firm is dedicated to maintaining work/life balance and values each employee's contribution. The standard work week (although flexible) would be Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30, with the exception of February- April 8:30-5:00 and a 4 day work week in July & August (Fridays off).
Due to continued growth, we currently have an opportunity for a Senior Bookkeeper/Technician.
Working closely with the firm’s partners, managers and other staff members, your primary responsibilities will be monthly/quarterly bookkeeping & HST reporting for a variety of clients, as well as other administrative tasks at various times.
The successful candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience and the following qualifications/attributes:
· Attention to detail & accuracy;
. Great time management skills;
· Self-starter, able to work independently and within a team environment;
· Ability to communicate well with clients and build strong relationships;
· Experience with Sage & QuickBooks (both desktop and online versions);

This position is fulltime, although, flexible hours and/or reduced hours will be considered.
